I know that we only have 6 days left until Christmas, but I figured that it wasn’t quite *too* late to write a quick little gift guide for the men in our lives. However, this isn’t the same sort of manly gift guide that a lot of other places will attempt to sell. I love the fact that masculinity doesn’t fall within any sort of rules, and I hope that this gift guide really reflects that. I want these gifts to really reflect well on the man that uses them in his home or at work (or wherever else he frequents outside of a worldwide pandemic).
Skeem Designs: Sweet Balsam Room and Mask Refresh $32.00

Aside from having one of the most aesthetically pleasing packages I’ve ever seen, this room spray smells like an early morning hike through a forest. Whether the man in your life lives alone or with others, this spray will ensure that his space smells as good as he (hopefully) looks.
Tenden: Simple Belt $85.00

I’ve sung the praises of Tenden before on this blog, and it won’t be the last. I’m a huge sucker for leather belts of all kinds, and this is one that I’ve found which holds up the proper way for all sorts of outfits. It comes in both black and light tan (featured above), and I’m absolutely in love with both of them. Just shop there. You won’t regret it.
Liz Plank’s For the Love of Men $14.00

It’s the book that started this blog. This is the reason that I’m interested in how masculinity can evolve into something greater than what it currently is. It’s written from the point of view of a woman who, over the course of writing the book (actually rewriting it several times) has come to realize that this is a book that’s written from a place of love.
Banana Republic: Italian Melton Topcoat $398.00

Man, there is *almost* nothing as impressive as a man in a well-made topcoat. Whether it’s in a traditional tan or an avant-garde grey, made of wool or a blend of synthetic materials, a topcoat works with anything from a casual hoodie to a thick knit sweater. It’s the perfect mix for a man who’s well dressed, and needs those extra layers for the colder northern months.
Aftershokz: Aeropex Bone Conduction Headphones $159.95

So I work at a place where these are sold, and a close friend got a set for his birthday. They’re a game changer. It’s strange when you wear them, because you’re in full awareness of the world around you while at the same time enjoying music, podcasts or audio books that are being transmitted directly to your inner ear. For the man who’s on the go, a workout fanatic or just someone who wants to try something new, this is the perfect sort of option.
Moleskine: PRO Notebook in Pearl Grey $22.95

The final gift on this list is something that everyone (not just men, obviously) should have in their possession. A notebook is ideal to pack into a leather backpack, a messenger bag or nearly anywhere else. I use one of these to jolt ideas down for the blog, dream outfits or as a sort of sketchbook for clients. It’s a perfect addition for someone who has ideas they don’t want to lose.
As always, thank you so much for reading! I know it’s a late post (there’s only five days till Christmas), but I hope it’s in some way helpful for some other ideas! If you end up getting any of these, or have any thoughts about other gifts for the men in your life, please comment or shoot me a message on social media! I always look forward to hearing what you think.
